I’m so sorry you had to go through this.

Luckily I had a great dentist who was good with children when I was a child.

A few years ago (after my dentist retired from my childhood) I was with a dentist who did not treat my children well. I had a joint-appointment with my youngest daughter — me at the dental-hygienist and she was with the dentist already. However, I was not yet ready at the dentist’s appointment and they already started with my youngest daughter putting her in the dentist's chair. First, they couldn’t wait for the mother to be there, and second, they were already stunned by my daughter — just as I walked into the room they were already doing everything with the needles without asking me first (I saw everything with my own eyes). They were already busy with their needle in front of my daughter’s eyes. My daughter immediately started crying. Thirdly, they did not ask me if my daughter could have an anesthetic at all. When I spoke to them about this, they said that the incident did not take place. I thought that was the worst. Just saying it’s not true and that I was lying. I didn’t know what to say. How can they deny it happened?! I was furious.

I am planning to have another dentist because they didn’t treat my husband well too. So an obvious decision.
