I am still not used to say I’m a writer. Because people around me say it isn’t a job but a hobby. They say a job is where you are in a room with colleagues from 9-17h. They say it is not secure and you'll know you're not paid enough to make a living.

But I write here on Medium, I write for the local newspaper (I do not get much paid for it and I do not have many assignments to write, but I have a freelance contract and write when my boss has something for me to write about, mostly 100 words). Then I ask myself: “Am I a writer?”. I have an idea for writing a book. Still not started.
